Hønefoss By AS skal forestå aktiviteter og arrangementer som fremmer
Hønefoss by som kultur- og handelshovedstad i Ringeriksregionen.
Selskapet skal drive aktivt og utadrettet arbeid med sikte på
nyetableringer innen handel og kultur og samordne og utvikle
prosjekter og tiltak som fremmer Hønefoss by sin attraktivitet og
omdømme. Selskapet har et ideelt formål. Eventuelle overskudd skal
tilbakeføres til driften i tråd med formålet. Det skal ikke utbetales
utbytte. Ved opphør vil gjenstående kapital tilføres eget
byutviklingsfond som administreres av Ringerike Næringsforening og
Ringerike kommune i fellesskap.
