Norges Diabetesforbund er en partipolitisk og religiøst uavhengig interesseorganisasjon som har til formål å organisere alle som vil fremme diabetikernes sak. Forbundet skal gjennom sosialpolitisk arbeid og ved opplæring, opplysning, rådgivningstjeneste og støtte til forskning, søke å bedre diabetikernes medisinske, sosiale og økonomiske vilkår. Forbundet skal i den grad det kan tjene diabetikernes interesser, samarbeide med andre organisasjoner i inn- og utland.
