Trysilvassdragets Skogeierlag (TVS) ble grunnlagt i 1916. En hovedårsak til etableringen var et ønske om å sikre interessene til skogeiere i Trysil og Engerdal en tid da svenske oppkjøpere var svært aktive. I dag er TVS en organisasjon med nesten 300 grunneiere i Trysil og Engerdal.
