Stiftelsens formål er å tilgjengeliggjøre Karin Sundbye sin kunst, ved
å gjøre hennes tepper tilgjengelig for museer, unge kunstnere og
ivareta hennes bolig. Boligen skal leies ut til kunstnere for en
tidsbegrenset periode for å gi arbeidsro og inspirasjon til å fremme
sin kunst og bidra til å fremme regionale kunstnere. Stiftelsen kan
eie kunst og delta i prosjekter/produkter utviklet av stiftelsen eller
av samarbeidspartnere.
