Sysselmesteren på Svalbard
Informasjon om Svalbard, Sysselmesteren, reiseliv og beredskap, svalbardloven, svalbardmiljøloven og annet regelverk på Svalbard.
Fondet skal nyttes til beste for miljøet på Svalbard ved at det settes
i verk tiltak for å beskytte naturmiljø og kulturminner på øygruppen.
Fondets midler skal bidra til å sikre at Svalbards særpregede
villmarksnatur bevares som grunnlag for opplevelse, kunnskap og
verdiskaping. Fondet skal arbeide for å initiere og stimulere gode
prosjekter og tiltak som har til formål å ivareta de høye miljømål som
er satt for Svalbard.
