Raftostiftelsen er en ideell organisasjon som arbeider for å fremme menneskerettighetene

Stiftelsens formål er i Thorolf Raftos ånd å arbeide for menneskets rettigheter, i første rekke åndsfrihet, politisk og økonomisk frihet. Arbeidet skal drives på humanistisk grunnlag uten geografiske avgrensninger for å fremme menneskeverd. Arbeidet til Raftostiftelsen skal utføres gjennom årlig utdeling av Raftoprisen, oppføring av Raftoprisene, undervisning og annen formidling.
