Veglaget skal bygge og vedlikeholde skogs- og seterveg. Veglaget har
som formål å redusere andelseiernes kostnader til uttransport av
tømmer og grovforproduksjon, og å gjøre skog og jordbruksareal i
vegens nytteområde tilgjengelig for aktiv skogforvaltning og
jordbruksdrift. Samt å sikre allmennhetens tilgang til fjellområdene
etter vegen.
