Å fremme interesse og forståelse for rutebildriftens betydning i
fortid og nåtid. Foreningen skal samle dokumenter o.l. av
rutebilhistorisk verdi, samt stimulere rutebilselskaper og andre til å
ta vare på gammelt rutebilmateriell. Gjennom medlemsblad og småskrift
vil foreningens medlemmer søke å bringe sin kunnskap til andre.
Foreningen skal dessuten holde kontakten med lignende foreninger i
landet forøvrig.
