Oslo Oratoriekor er et blandet kor som hovedsakelig skal fremføre
oratorier i samarbeid med symfoniorkestre og solister, enhver av disse
verkene omtales videre som prosjekter. Også andre opptredener kan
forekomme og besluttes av styret, og korets medlemmer forplikter seg
til å stille på disse. Koret er tilsluttet Norges korforbund.
