Eige og forvalte det tidligare Statsarkivet i Kristiansand. Bygningen blei brukt som hovudkvarter for Gestapo under okkupasjonen. Bygningen skal være ein del av eit informasjonssenter om okkupasjonen og krigstida 1940-45. Det skal også være eit utdanningssenter for framtidsretta fredsarbeid, basert på demokrati, fridom og menneskeverd. Siktemålet er å få til eit nært samarbeid med tilsvarende interesseorganisasjonar og sikre eit godt samarbeid med alle delar av utdanningssystemet. Stiftelsen skal drive og ha ansvar for vitenskapleg forskning på dei aktuelle fagområda.
