Hytten drives av stiftelsen REDNINGSHYTTEN PÅ GULFJELLET. Hytten drives av styret samt en gruppe frivillige vakter som står for servering om søndagene, se under arkfanen Søndagstur. Det er ca. 20 vakter totalt og nye er hjertelig velkommen.
GULFJELLETS VENNER gir støtte til vedlikehold og drift.
