amatørsymfoniorkester for ungdom og støttespelarar som skal ha som
formål å vekkje og stimulere til interesse for musikk, ved å arbeide
for å utvikle varige, positive og givande fritidsaktivitetar.
Gi høve til å spele i lag i orkester under kyndig leiing.
Gi opplæring i orkesterspel til alle som ynskjer det.
Samarbeide med dei lokale kultuskulane og andre for å skape eit så
rikt musikkliv som råd
