Å virke for at ASA skal kunne gi et best mulig tilbud til behandling,
pleie og omsorg for Aust-Agders befolkning. Dette kan skje ved å samle
inn midler til innkjøp av utstyr som ikke dekkes av sykehusets
ordinære bevilgninger og til å dekke andre behov sykehuset måtte ha.
Virkemidlene kan være direkte innsamling, utlodninger, auksjoner,
konserter og andre arrangementer og tiltak som finnes hensiktsmessig.
