Norske Kokkers Landsforening
Å fremme Det Norske Kjøkken, den norske matkulturen og kokkfaget. Å
være kokkers fremste møteplass, skape relasjoner og bygge faglig
nettverk. Å være høringsorgan for læreplaner og bransjerelaterte
saker. Å ha søkelys på rekruttering til utdanning, fag og forening. Å
knytte sammen NKLs foreninger med felles aktiviteter, engasjement og
en aktiv årsplan. Å organisere et partnerprogram for å finansiere NKLs
aktiviteter, landslag og konkurranser.
Norske Kokkers Landsforening er en selveiende og frittstående juridisk
organisasjon, er partipolitisk nøytral og driver ikke erverv til eget
formål. NKL utfører rekrutterings- og omdømmeaktiviteter for
kokkefagets og Det Norske Kjøkkens fremme, medlemsaktiviteter for å
skape relasjoner i faglige nettverk, og organiserer og leder De Norske
Kokkelandslagene, Norges Cup for kokk- og servitørlærlinger, NM i
Kokkekunst og NM for Community Catering.
