Stiftelsens formål er at avkastningen skal gå til utdannelse til trengende barn i Buskerud samt gamle Hurum kommune og gamle Røyken kommune hvor ikke begge foreldre bidrar til utdannelsen. I tillegg kan det etter søknad utdeles midler til konkrete tiltak til beste for speiderbevegelsen, tilsvarende kristelig barne- og ungdomsarbeid samt tilskudd til arrangementer som retter seg mot barn og unge i Buskerud samt gamle Hurum kommune og gamle Røyken kommune.
