Å gi økonomisk støtte til a)ungdom under utdanning og som har
tilknytning til Harstad b)unge kvinner og/eller menn som arbeider
med/innenfor prosjekter som tar opp sosiale utfordringer i samsvar med
Rønning og Simensens idegrunnlag. Et vilkår er at vedkommende må ha
gjort seg fortjent til støtte, enten ved sitt musikalske/dramatiske
talent eller sitt sosiale arbeid/engasjement. For sistnevnte kategori
forutsettes støtten å nyttes til det prosjekt mottakeren er engasjert
i. Legatet skal også etter søknad kunne gi økonomisk støtte til
lag/forening/institusjon med spesiell vekt på tiltak rettet mot de
aller svakeste i samfunnet.
