Interesseorganissjon for å fremme et rasjonelt og lønnsomt sau- og
geitehold, sikre beiteretten og stimulere til samarbeid i produksjon
og omsetning. Videre skal det arbeides for å øke bruk av norske
småfeprodukt og fremme småfeholdet.
