Siams Venner har som formål å ta vare på og vise fram thailandsk
kultur og tradisjon i distriktet (Sør-Helgeland). Foreningen skal
prioritere aktiviteter som fremmer interessen for thailandsk kultur og
tradisjoner, og søke å holde miljøet levende i distriktet. Det skal
legges vekt på godt samarbeid med andre foreninger og lag på
Sør-Helgeland, og med kommuner og næringsliv.
