er redusert på grunn av periodontitt, yte konsulentbistand for
allmennpraktiserende tannleger i spørsmål om behandling og
forebyggende tiltak ved periodontale sykdommer, drive utadrettet
kursvirksomhet på etterutdannelsesnivå for tannleger og øvrig
tannhelsepersonell, ivareta etterkontroll og vedlikehold ved
behandling med orale implantater, utvikle metoder for diagnostikk
og behandling av periimplantære infeksjoner og delta i
forskningsprosjekter innenfor fagområdet.
