DKS har som formål å gi tilbud om trygg og stabil boform til beste for
eldre/omsorgstrengende personer av begge kjønn som har god vandel og
som skal være i familie med Danckert D. Krohn og hustru så lenge noen
finnes. Dersom nevnte personer ikke finnes kan andre personer få
tilbud om trygg og stabil boform. Dersom det er økonomisk ansvarlig
kan stiftelsen dele ut gaver/midler til allmennyttige formål som
arbeider for at eldre/omsorgstrengende personer får støtte og hjelp
til et godt livsopphold enten direkte eller indirekte gjennom
forskning og utvikling.
