Matsentralen Norge er et nettverk av matsentraler som kobler sammen overskuddsmat fra matbransjen med ideelle organisasjoner som hjelper de vanskeligstilte. Slik hjelper vi både matbransjen å redusere matsvinn, og ideelle organisasjoner å hjelpe mennesker i vanskelige situasjoner.
Redusere matsvinn ved innsamling av overskuddsmat fra matbransjen. Maten videreformidles vederlagsfritt til ideelle organisasjoner som driver servering og utdeling av mat til vanskeligstilte personer. Undervisning og informasjonsarbeid som bidrar til å skape forståelse og kunnskap om matsvinn, fattigdom, bærekraft og miljø.
