Vestlandske Teatersenter (VT) - Kompetansesenter innenfor scenekunst
Vårt varierte tilbud gjør oss til en unik og viktig kulturaktør for Vestlandsregionen. Vi ønsker å gi teaterinteresserte kurstilbud og teaterinstruksjon. Vi ønsker å gi teaterpublikum gode teateropplevelser.
Være et kompetanse- og opplæringssenter innen teater. Gi et variert
tilbud av høy kvalitet innen teaterfeltet med hovedvekt på barn, unge
og frivillig scenekunst. a) Gi barn, unge og voksne amatører et
meningsfullt aktivitetstilbud i form av undervisning i scenekunst.
Aktiviteten skal gi trivsel og mestring, ny innsikt og kompetanse. b)
Tilby det frivillige scenekunstfeltet kompetanseheving i form av kurs
og instruksjon. Være en organisator og skape møteplasser for
amatørteatervirksomhet. c) Også tilby profesjonelle forestillinger og
kunstfaglige prosjekter. d) Arbeide for å fremme ny norsk og
internasjonal dramatikk. e) Ha sine hovedaktiviteter i
vestlandsregionen. På områder med spesialkompetanse skal VT ha hele
landet som nedslagsfelt. f) Arbeide for tilrettelegging av gode
fysiske rammer for teateraktivitet.

Ressurssenter for amatørteatervirksomhet.
