Skal være en interesseforening for Maine Coon rasen. Målet er å arbeide for det beste for katten, eiere og oppdrettere, ved å fremme interessen for MCO - rasen, få fokus på å avle mentale, fysiske og eksteriørmessig gode individ. Klubben skal gi kunnskap om kattens velferd og helse og arbeide for økt interesse rundt rasen for alle med interesse for MCO. MCO katten skal jobbe for å få flere veterinærer til å bli godkjent i Pawped helseprogram for Maine Coon
