Sykehusbygg HF bidrar til framtidsrettet utvikling av sykehusbyggingen i Norge, gjennom læring, innovasjon og erfarings- og kompetanseoverføring.
Være en leverandør for de regionale helseforetakene og landets
helseforetak innen planlegging og bygging av sykehus. Bidra til
utvikling, forvaltning og deling av kunnskap slik at denne kunnskapen
kan tas hensyn til og innarbeides i nye prosjekter.
Er en del av spesialisthelsetjenesten, og de overordnede politiske mål
for spesialhelsetjenesten skal også gjelde for helseforetaket.
Legge til rette for og bidra til standardisering, erfaringsoverføring,
god ressursutnyttelse mv innen prosjektering og bygging av sykehus.
Vesentlige deler av arbeidet vil skje gjennom tjenestesalg av
prosjektledelse og rådgivning knyttet til byggeprosjekter.
