som eit historisk og kulturhistorisk hjelpemiddel. Fremje
filmkunnskap, det vil seie vurdering og forståing av film og filmens
funksjon i samfunnet. Dette vert nådd ved å arrangere
filmførestillingar saman med føredrag, diskusjonar, studieringar og
trykt materiell. Arrangerer lukka filmvisningar for
medlemmar. Samarbeidsarrangement med andre organisasjonar er mogleg.
