Stiftelsen av Øyane Husmorlag er en ideell samfunnsnyttig stiftelse. Stiftelsen har til formål å gi økonomisk støtte til tiltak for utvikling og trivsel for eldre, fortrinnsvis på Hundvåg og Byøyene, herunder beboerne ved Øyane Sykehjem. Økonomisk bistand kan unntaksvis også ytes til tilsvarende tiltak for eldre andre steder i Stavanger kommune. Støtte kan gis til personer, organisasjoner, og virksomheter som bidrar til å fremme stiftelsens formål.
