Stiftelsen Havrettsminister Jens Evensens Legat skal ha til formål å
tilveiebringe midler for norske eller internasjonale personer til
støtte for deres forskning på eller arbeid med havrett, herunder
rettigheter til kontinentalsokkelen, i den hensikt å hedre, videreføre
og utvikle det arbeidet Havrettsminister Jens Evensen igangsatte.
Stiftelsen skal således gjennom sin støtte bidra til at
Havrettsminister Jens Evensens visjoner og arbeid videreføres.
