Surnadal Travklubb skal være en organisasjon for hesteeiere og andre trav- og hesteinteresserte med tilknytning til Surnadal. Klubben skal aktivt bidra med å legge forholdene til rette for oppdrett, trening og løpskjøring for klubbens medlemmer. Klubben skal ha egne treningsanlegg og legge forholdene til rette for en positiv sportslig og kompetansemessig utvikling i klubben.
