a) Å gi bidrag til innkjøp av livsviktige hjelpemidler i helse- sektoren, og andre hjelpeapparater til sykehus og andre institusjoner som de offentlige budsjetter ikke har midler til å anskaffe. Likeledes midler til kirke og andre sosiale institusjoner. Bærum sykehus og Østerås bo- og behandlingssenter (tidligere Bærum Røde Kors Sykehjem) skal fortrinnsvis tilgodeses. b) Gi stipender, bidrag eller andre ytelser til familiemedlemmer i forbindelse med utdannelse eller til dekning av andre særlige behov, herunder også avsetning til nødvendig vedlikehold av familiegravsted, etter søknad til styret.
