Stiftelsen skal ved utstillinger og aktiv formidling gjennom Kunsthall
Grenland arbeide for å skape interesse og kunnskap om norsk og
internasjonal billedkunst, kunsthåndverk, porselens- og
samtidskeramikk, og andre visuelle uttrykksformer. Målgruppen er
publikum generelt i Vestfold/Telemark, Grenland og Porsgrunn. Spesiell
vekt legges på formidling til barn, unge og eldre, gjennom Porsgrunn
kommunes ulike program for disse. Kunsthall Grenland skal ha særlig
fokus på samtidskunst og eksperimentell kunst. Stiftelsen skal legge
til rette for opplevelse, dialog og nettverksbygging.
