Arbeide for: - at medlemmene får tilfredsstillende arbeids- betingelser og utviklingsmuligheter, - å gjøre medlemsbedriftene konkurransedyktige og lønnsomme, - å styrke medlemmenes samfunnsmessige innsats for sikre og fremtidsrettede arbeidsplasser, - å styrke medlemmenes kompetanse og arbeidsgiver- ansvar, og - å virke for samarbeid mellom næringsliv og øvrige deler av samfunnet.
