Føremålet med selskapet er å styrkja regionen gjennom større grad av
interkommunalt samarbeid med hovudvekt på alle typar tiltaksarbeid og
utviklingsprosjekt. Selskapet kan driva si verksemd dels i eigen regi
og dels fungera som tilretteleggar for andre både offentlege og
private verksemder.
Samarbeidet skal leggja til grunn deltaking frå likeverdige partar og
skal vera eit supplement og ei støtte til kommunane si eiga verksemd.
Selskapet kan og inngå samarbeidsavtaler med kommunar, andre selskap
og verksemder.
Interkommunalt sammarbeid på generell basis med særleg hovudvekt på
alle typar tiltaksarbeid og utviklingsprosjekt for effektivisering av
kommunale oppgåver.
