Å skaffe avløsning slik at medlemmene får regelmessig fritid, avlastning i onnetider og avløsning under sykdom m.m. Selskapet kan også administrere/koordinere andre former for samarbeidstiltak som kan være med å forbedre medlemmenes driftsresultat, arbeidssituasjon og velferd. Det kan også være naturlig å yte andre tjenester som styrker landbruket eller er utviklende for nærmiljøet.
Legge tilrette og administrere all fritids- og ferieavløsning for sine medlemmer. Være ansvarlig overfor landbruksnemda i kommunen for de offentlige avløsertilskott medlemmene er berettiget til. Arbeide for at alle medlemmer skal få mulighet til avløsning og spesielt arbeide for ordninger som gir større mulighet til avløsning i helgene.
