Vi ønsker å være en samlende organisasjon for alle som underviser
matematikk på alle nivåer fra barnehage til høgskole. Vi vil arbeide
for å styrke fagets plass i barnehagen og skolen, skape bevisstgjøring
omkring faglige og didaktiske problemstillinger. Videre søker vi å
være en samarbeidspartner og høringsinstans for besluttende og
bevilgende myndigheter i saker som er relevante for matematikkens
plass i skolen.
