Koordinere og effektivisere opplæringsvirksomhet i bilfagene og andre
fag innen handel, håndverk og industri, herunder gjennom å gjøre det
lettere å ta inn lærlinger og gi undervisning i hele opplæringsplanen,
samt videreutdanning av personell som i egenskap av erfaring mv. ikke
anses å være lærlinger. Å koordinere og effektivisere de deltagende
bedrifters opplæringsvirksomhet. Et hovedformål er å gjøre det lettere
å ta inn lærlinger og gi undervisning i hele opplæringsplanen.
Skolering av voksen arbeidskraft i faget kan også komme inn under
kontorets virksomhet.
