bygdas gamle kultur, levesett og arbeidsvilkår før i tiden og knytte
forbindelsen frem til i dag b) å samle inn lokalhistorisk materiale av
alle slag og verne om de kulturminner som finnes c) å fremme
kjennskapet til forfedre ved slektsforskning.
