Foreningens formål er å bevare/drifte/vedlikeholde Ås skolehus,
Svalandsveien 291. Skolehuset er bygget i slutten av 1800 tallet og er
et viktig samlingspunkt for lokalsamfunnet. Ås skolehus er et
grendehus for hele den gamle skolekretsen på Rosseland, Ås, Svaland,
Steinsland og Daland.
