Å fremme arbeid og samarbeid om helse, miljø og sikkerhet.
Organisasjonen skal ha informasjon, opplæring og faglig veiledning som
sentrale oppgaver samt bistå arbeidstakere og arbeidsgivere og deres
organisasjoner i miljøarbeidet.
Virksomheten skal baseres på et bredt samarbeid med partene i
arbeidslivet, andre organisasjoner og offentlige myndigheter.
Annen undervisning samt salg av skilt og forlagsprodukter. Salg av
tidsskrift. Medlemsorganisasjon.
