§ 1 Formål Betwixt & Between er sosialantropologistudentenes årbok, i form av en samling artikler skrevet av studenter på masterprogrammet sosialantropologi ved de fire instituttene i Norge. Betwixt & Between ble utgitt for første gang i 1987 og kommer ut i starten av høstsemesteret hvert år. Det tidligere Hovedfagsstudentenes årbok skiftet i 2004 navn til Betwixt & Between. I 2005 vant tidsskriftet prisen for årets enkelttiltak blant frivillige studentaktiviteter ved Universitetet i Oslo. Formålet till Betwixt & Between er altså å utgi sosialantropologistudentenes årbok hvert år.
