Haslum Skoles Jentekorps har til formål å fremme forståelsen av og gleden ved å drive aktiv musikkutøvelse blant sine medlemmer. Korpsets musikalske virksomhet drives i form av samspill med messinginstrumenter samt slagverk, dvs. brassbesetning, men korpset kan også ta opp andre aktiviteter som er egnet til å fremme korpsets mål.
