Fremme tilstedeværelse av kontemporær kunst og kultur, i Bjørvika og i
Oslo gjennom å:
1. Formidle og vise norsk og internasjonal kontemporær kunst og
kultur, primært i Bjørvika.
2. Stimulere til almenn forståelse og kunnskap om den kontemporære
kunstens og kulturens uttrykk og dens sosiale og historiske
sammenheng, gjennom bl.a. utstillingsaktivitet, omvisninger, foredrag,
besøk og læringsprogrammer.
3. Produsere og kommisjonere nye kunstverk for visning i egne lokaler
eller andre steder. Dette kan skje i samarbeid med andre
institusjoner, virksomheter og bedrifter.
4. Tilby koordinering og formidling av kunst i Bjørvika og fungere som
en kunnskapsbase for hvordan man kan arbeide med kunst i området.
Kunstformidling og kunstfaglig rådgivning.
