Foreningen skal legge et godt grunnlag for yrkesutøvelse innen drift,
bruker- og driftsstøtte, sikkerhet og forbedring av IKT-tjenester.
Dette innebærer blant annet å drive kundeservice innen IT/IKT -
herunder, men ikke begrenset til - reparasjoner av IT/AV utstyr.
Foreningen skal hjelpe medlemmene til å lage godt opplærings- og
kursmateriell, og annet som er relevant etter læreplanen for
sluttopplæring innenfor det nye yrkesfaget Informasjonsteknologi og
det utgående yrkesfaget IKT-servicefaget.
