Bistå med regnskapsføring og økonomisk rådgivning. Regnskapet skal gi grunnlag for skattlegging, avgiftsberegning og en planmessig næringsdrift med god oversikt over medlemmenes økonomi. Regnskapet skal videre kunne danne grunnlag for driftsanalyser og driftsplanlegging. Videre skal laget bistå medlemmene i eventuelle klagesaker i forbindelse med skatt og avgiftsbehandling. I den grad det er ønskelig, skal regnskapet etter tilatelse fra bruker kunne danne grunnlag for individuell rådgivning, grupperådgivning, undervisning og forskning. Laget skal så langt det er mulig og ønskelig, bistå lagets medlemmer med annen økonomisk planlegging og rådgivning. Innenfor rammene som er lagt i lovgivningen kan laget yte service og veiledning i forbindelse med grunnavståelse, eiendomsoverdragelse, finansspørsmål og lignende saker. Regnskapskontoret kan utføre tilsvarende bistand til ikke-medlemmer.
