Foreningen har som formål å hjelpe til å gjenreise ny kai i Brennsund.
Videre tar foreningen sikte på å vedlikeholde kaia i framtida, samt
forsøke å skape et godt forhold mellom Brennsundfolk, og folk som
føler tilknytning til stedet. Dette innbefatter også å ta vare på, og
verne om, stedets natur og ressurser.
