Foreningen har som formål og organisere trivselstiltak i forbindelse med eiendommene som har adresse Krøsshaugen og de nærmeste eiendommene i Gamlevegen som grenser naturlig til Krøsshaugen. Spesielt skal vellet ha fokus på felles aktiviteter på friareal og være et talerøør overfor kommunen i ulike spørsmål, eksempelvis vedlikehold og sikkerhet på kommunal vei.
