Å samle grunneigarane og rettighetshavarane i området (jfr. §3) for i
samarbeid å utnytta utmarksressursane som ledd i gardsdrifta. I sitt
arbeid skal utmarkslaget tilgodesjå såvel grunneigarane som
rettighetshavarane sine interesser, som dei interesser samfunnet
forøvrig har i utnyttinga av utmarka, samt søke å bevare ressursane på
lang sikt. Utmarkslaget står tilslutta Utmarkslaget i Møre og Romsdal
fylke.
Forvalte jakt, fiske og andre utmarksressurser til beste for
medlemmene og samfunnet forøvrig.
