Forbundet skal samle alt militært tjenestegjørende personell, for å
fremme felles økonomiske, sosiale og faglige interesser. Forbundet
skal arbeide for medbestemmelse og innflytelse på alle arenaer som
berører våre medlemmer. Forbundet skal arbeide for å styrke Forsvaret
og dets rolle i det norske samfunn. Forbundet skal arbeide for en
demokratisk og rettferdig ordning for militært tilsatte. Forbundet
skal være fritt og partipolitisk uavhengig og kan ikke bevilge penger
til politiske partier.
