VESTERÅLEN STORBAND
Operating
Vesterålen Storbands formål er å spille rytmisk musikk, og gi
(jazz)interesserte musikere i Vesterålen anledning til å spille sammen
i et storband. I tillegg til å øve og drive opplæring, skal storbandet
gi konserter og spille til dans. Storbandet skal søke samarbeid med
andre amatører innen kulturlivet i regionen der en finner det naturlig
og utviklende. Storbandet skal også søke samarbeid med profesjonelle
musikere/ kunstnere som vil bidra til å utvikle storbandets og
enkeltpersoners kunstneriske talent.
