Operating
Legates formål er å utdele engangstipend til begavet og svakt bemidlet
ungdom, bosatt innen det som omfattes av tidligere Holla kommune, som
søker høyere utdannelse for å kvalifisere seg i næringslivet. Søkerne
må i hele sin oppvekst ha vist en plettfri vandel, og må i
skolesammenheng kunne dukumentere iherdig innsats og stor dyktighet.
Dersom det ikke er nok berettigede søkere ved en utdeling, kan det
utdeles tilsvarende mer ved en senere utdeling. Forøvrig står det
legatstyret fritt å fordele det disponible stipend til en enkelt søker
eller til flere berettigede.
