Operating
Korpsets formål er å stimulere medlemmenes interesse for musikk, og å
hjelpe dem å utvikle sine musikalske evner og høyne den musikalske
forståelse hos dem. Korpset skal medvirke til at medlemmene setter seg
positive mål og idealer, og utvikler seg til sunn og god ungdom.
Dessuten medvirke til god lagånd, godt kameratskap og selvdisiplin.
Korpsets formål utad er dessuten å bidra til styrking og utvikling av
distriktets kulturarbeid.
